Hey, few things about me.
I published a short story in my local magazine (non English country) and since then I am struggling without any inspiration. That was several years ago and I was unemployed the entire time. Worse yet, I played video games the whole time. I have resolved the financial situation, but it is getting worse month by month. I still have text that I want to finish high school.
During that time I wrote something, many texts and poems, but my goal is to publish a novel and I was not very close to that goal. I only write fantasy fiction and I don’t feel like writing anything other than fantasy and occasional poems.
I feel uninspired, as if my text has no purpose, which for the most part does not. What I want to write about: main sorceress character, Norse / Slavic medieval fantasy, company of wolves, third person, mixed perspectives, what I write about: family problems in imaginative lands.
My published story was about the witch on her journey through the dream world maturity ritual and it was amazing with few twists and a hasty ending … I wanted to expand the story, but when I started writing I felt that story had finished.
The story that is not done is a story set in fantastic ancient times, I feel it is a unique setting (not a Roman, Greek or medieval setting, more like an Egyptian style), but maybe it is not something I want to write about , and I feel that the text became strange to me. It’s a high school text message, where there was additional middle / final rush, but I recently shortened it.
How I really write: Well, when I start the text, I usually have a hard time finding a topic, so I start something about the girl’s main topic, the setting, the family, then let her guide me through the writing. But usually it doesn’t take me anywhere or any direction I don’t want to venture.

Do you have any advice for me? I’m mainly looking for inspirational tips or writing technique suggestions.
