I have been writing my current novel for the past nine years. Thanks to the unprecedented amount of free time I’ve had in the past three weeks, I finally finished my second draft two days ago. I’m setting it aside for about a month so that when I re-read it I can address it more objectively, but now I realize I don’t know what comes after a final draft. I’ve been dreaming of finishing a novel for so long that I never stopped to think about what came next.
