How do I interpret the agents' rejections?

22 rejections + 10 closed (supposed rejection). There are no requests even for partial. I tried to rewrite my query 3 different times (each time I edited according to the online comments). Inquiry letters are personalized. Beta readers (who are not my friends or family) seem to love the book.
I want to improve it (at least improve my next novel), but I don’t know what to work on. I have received no comment on what is wrong.
My beta readers told me that my novel is “different in a good way”. Is that so? Is rare? But I see weird things on the shelves all the time …
