Tips and tricks of Flash Fiction?

Hello everyone, I’m working on a piece of flash fiction for one of my writing courses and, honestly, I’m struggling because I’m used to writing long-term fiction or at least a few pages in length. I have trouble understanding the 500 word limit and I still have a plot, etc. I have some paragraphs and a basic idea, but does anyone have any exercise I can do to condense everything I want to say in such a short time? space?
