As fellow writers, I am sure you have received this comment by giving your content to others and asking their opinion:

“Oh yes, it was fine!” or “I liked it” or “Great, good job”.

While this feedback is sometimes “nice”, it doesn’t really help as a writer, and it can be annoying. However, I recently discovered a method for getting better feedback, and it may work for you.

For more specific and detailed answers, *** ask more specific and detailed questions ***. Ask your readers about certain points in the plot, or the dialogue, or the characters. While this may not always give better results, perhaps for some it will give you that much-needed criticism and comment.
