It only takes one person to open their eyes in amazement to notice the stars. What does this passage mean to you? I do not pretend that it is an enigma, although I am interested in that you understand it. Let me give you some background on its origin. I was talking to a client recently about understanding an idea that changes the course of our lives. Have you experienced moments like this where you captured a concept that changed your perception of life? I have experienced many of these moments. You light the darkness when you open your eyes to your fears and you give yourself to infinite possibilities and wonders. That is why we cannot discount the value of each moment to awaken the unlimited potential that is within us. If I am to impart wisdom, it is this: everyone you know, and every moment carries a treasure that can awaken the wisdom within you . We are a single people, a collective conscience divided by: religion, geography, ethnicity, education and education. While these qualities make us different, I compare it to comparing a fountain pen to a ballpoint pen. In these unpredictable times there is a lot of uncertainty in the world, but there is a lot to wait for. We should not discount the power of a person to change the world. Recently, a young Swedish environmental activist, Greta Thunberg, has sparked controversy asking country leaders to review their position on climate change. Who would have thought that a 16-year-old girl would cause so much debate, mainly among privileged white men who feel castrated? It only takes one person to open their eyes in amazement to notice the stars and change the course of humanity. I am not suggesting that Greta Thunberg be that person because it is too early to tell. She can fade into darkness for all we know. However, it is the message that these people carry that we must pay attention to. We could say the same of Elon Musk, who has been instrumental in his work for the last decade. What I am saying is: when an individual sees the world differently, instead of criticizing it, we must look in the same direction to glimpse what he sees.
Ignore you first
Do you feel comfortable embracing those who are different, instead of projecting our unresolved pain onto them? Elon Musk, Bill Gates, Stephen Hawking, or other pioneers of the 21st century tried to see the world differently, many of them with unique learning and behavioral skills. Each individual with an idea will stop at nothing to make their idea come true. I remember the quote attributed to Mahatma Gandhi in which he said: “First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you and then you win.” Instead of criticizing those with a single message, we should consider it with an open mind. It means we are quick to accept it, but we contemplate whether it is important. There will be many like Greta Thunberg to come. Some will be old, others will be young, but we should not attack them, but listen with a sincere conscience to evaluate if there is any truth in their wisdom.
Humanity is crying out for leaders and creators of change. Long for those with a strong character and a tenacious will. We must support our leaders because, as Steve Jobs put it so eloquently in 1997: “Here are the madmen, the misfits, the rebels, the troublemakers, the round pegs in the square holes … those who see things the right way. different: they don’t like the rules and they don’t respect the status quo … You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or denigrate them, but the only thing you can’t do is ignore them because things change … Humanity advances forward, and although some may see them as crazy, we see genius, because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones who do . ”
These are the people who will ignite the spark of ingenuity and inspiration for humanity. These people force us to open our eyes in amazement and look into the darkness to see the light. These people enter a dark room, which means the darkness of the world, and create a brighter future and hope for humanity. Let us not be the ones to punish them because their opinions do not fit the masses. We don’t want them to adjust because conformity doesn’t change the world. We applaud the heroes, the influencers. Innovators and inventors with a vision to see a new world for humanity. Consciousness is a powerful faculty because when it is engaged, it can cross the threshold of time and erase the past in a fraction of a second. It can move us from problems to solutions and we should not discount the power of a person to change the collective consciousness of humanity.
