Bee Movie and Beowulf Movie Review

Bee Movie Review

Bee Movie “stars a very talented cast of voices directed by Jerry Seinfeld, Mathew Broderick and Renee Zellweger. This animated film takes place in New York City, where a bee named Barry leaves his hive to explore the outside world.

Barry B. Benson (Jerry Seinfeld) has just graduated from college with his friend Adam Flayman (Mathew Broderick). After Barry realizes that he will work with the same job for the rest of his life, he decides to explore outside the hive before he doesn’t have the opportunity. Once Barry leaves the hive, but breaks a very important bee rule: never talk to humans. Meet a human named Vanessa Bloome (Renee Zellweger), who saved his life. The two become close friends, but Barry soon discovers that humans have been stealing honey from bees for profit. Decides to sue the human race for stealing honey.

Jerry Seinfeld adds some witty humor to a well-educated story about bees that will even entertain those who are not Jerry Seinfeld fans. This is a step towards great animation that adults will enjoy as much as children. No moment is boring in this sweet gift of a movie. Although some moments are absolutely ridiculous, they are ignored considering all the animated rags made this year. This is one of the best animated movies of the year.

Bee Movie has all the special ingredients that make these movies bearable for adults. He has some great laughs scattered throughout the movie. Jerry Seinfeld presents a dignified family film that has many intelligent moments. “Bee Movie” is fun, witty and as sweet as honey.

A small and intelligent animated film that, in my humble opinion, puts a sting in “Ratatouille”. “Bee Movie” will surely please children and entertain adults with their ingenious ideas. Funny sometimes and has a talented cast. Spread the rumor to those who found “Ratatouille” a bore.

Beowulf Movie Review

“Beowulf” stars Ray Winstone, Anthony Hopkins, John Malkovich, Robert Wright Penn, Brendan Gleeson, Crispin Glover, Alison Lohman and Angelina Jolie. The movie takes place in a town that is being interrupted by a beast. This is an adventure / fantasy that will be amazed only by its new era of animation.

“Beowulf” begins with a noisy party in the village that agitates the beast of the city, which has sensitive ears and is called Grendal (Crispin Glover). The king (Anthony Hopkins) is tired of the destruction that Grendal has caused to the city and calls the hero Beowulf (Ray Winstone). Beowulf then agrees to kill the beast. After his encounter with Grendal ends with Grendal without an arm, Beowulf does not know that the beast has an angry mother (Angelina Jolie) that she must face after killing Grendal.

“Beowulf” puts the amazing animation that was used for “The Polar Express” to good use. The problem with Beowulf is the remarkably bad dialogue that produces some involuntary laughs (?). It was hard to know if Robert Zemeckis was trying to make the satirical movie on purpose. The only way to watch this movie is in theaters because the animation would not look so good on DVD. Surprisingly entertaining when it comes to images.

Another important problem with “Beowulf” is the end, which I call an impulse thief. It may have a connection with the story, but with such a slow paced end to a fast paced movie it makes a disappointing conclusion. As for animation, this is the best I’ve seen all year. This is a great leap of the “Polar Express” poorly written and poorly executed, but still has its persistent flaws.

“Beowulf” is a visually captivating film experience. There are two things I could not help but persist. One is the ridiculously bad dialogue, and the other is the end that takes away the energy of the movie. I must say that this movie has something worth recommending, it is an incredibly beautiful animation and, therefore, fails as a whole.
