Representation readers

I am currently writing a novel where my main character has a disability that I do not share. The job is somehow finished, but I’d like someone who shares my character’s disability to read it again when it’s done to make sure I’m not inadvertently being offensive. Where would you ask for readers?

I’m also not sure if you should finish the edits before these readers take a look at it because disability is quite essential to the story and I don’t want to waste time working on a story that is not viable. Is it traditional to finish edits before they are seen, or is it okay to send a less-than-perfect manuscript?
