How long did it take you to write your novel? How many words were?

I am a new writer here! Rather, I am graduating from school and will have more time to write for fun. I started writing a novel a week ago and I have about 8,000 words. It's from a story idea that has floated in my head since I was a teenager. My goal is to write an average of 1,000 words per day and finish between 70-90,000 words. I don't know if it's something I will ever publish, but I'm really enjoying the process. I'm curious to know how long it took you to write your first novel. How many words were? How much time did you spend writing versus editing?
