If you would like information on name structures, troop use, writer motivation, gender conventions, technical writing tips on grammar or punctuation, or any other type of question that can get a quick and definitive answer, this thread is for you. If you are a novice writer who tries to learn the ropes and you just have to ask yourself an urgent question, post it here. This is also the meeting place for an "off-topic" conversation that may not be directly related to writing but is nice to share. Did something interesting happen this week? Something sad?
