How to edit faster?

There is a lot of good advice on how to improve developing and editing lines. But the problem I’m running into now is being able to edit my work at a reasonable pace. Sometimes I end up staring at a page or two for almost an hour with little to show. I think part of it is that I’m afraid of missing something and then having to go back for another round (I’m on my 7th draft over 18 months and while each one hasn’t been extensive edits, I’m starting to feel like they might be spinning wheels). I’d love to take a week off and lock myself in a cabin with no other worries, but unfortunately that’s not happening at the moment. Does anyone have any tips on how to edit more *efficiently*?
