How do you write a character that travels a distance?

In a multi-story story, is it important to make the protagonist more frequent than an antagonist?

In complex stories, it is easy for one character or group of characters to be the center of attention. At least that’s what I found when writing. But if that is the antagonist (s), is it bad or is it the story? I am currently writing a story and was curious about something. I did a search for ‘find’ in the document and learned that the protagonist’s name is mentioned almost 200 times less than the antagonist’s. Sure, the protagonist is referenced in other ways besides his name, but the number 200 seems like a big gap. What do you all think?
