My writing feels like bad fanfiction

Hello everybody! So, as the title itself implies, I’m concerned that my characters (and let’s be honest, my world in general) are too similar to those in my favorite book series, so much so that they even seem like a fanfiction of her. although it was not my intention that they did. This really sucks because I spent hours on world building and character development so if there is any advice that can help me steer away from that I would really appreciate it, thanks in advance! PS: I could be posting this on the wrong subreddit, and if I am, I apologize for that. I’m really not that smart when it comes to subreddits and the like.
