I started writing randomly. Like suddenly, without any planning. I had a story on my mind. I wanted to write it. They still do it. But the more I procrastinate and think, the more I start to get nervous about it. Especially since I’m still reading too obviously. I catch something new every time I read a new book. “Oh I need a real decent map and I should finalize my” event area “(my term for the area where the story actually takes place on the map)” I need more credible names “” I need to solidify the construction of my world ” “It’s a fantasy world with magic, there’s no way there isn’t some kind of religious system … I need to think about that and do a FULL belief system” Things like that … that last one just came to me tonight, And so far, it has me the most stressed as it is the most … crucial? As if I had the means to be the most changeable history and world, but since this all started on a whim, I literally have nothing established. Is there a version of this where “on top of my head” still works Or should I take a few weeks and just grudgingly build my world into a separate document, and call it back or even use it later?
