There are several other types of online writing jobs available, although they may not be as popular as these. Here is a list of them.

E-books

E-books, or e-books, are online documents that contain detailed information on a particular topic. They are usually quite long, some of them can occupy hundreds of pages and are written like a book. They should have a prologue, a content page, and a postword. Everything should be divided into chapters. To write an e-book, you need to be very knowledgeable about the topic and you need to have teaching skills. Since this is a bulky job, it also pays you very well.

Reports and technical writing

Again, this is something that requires a lot of knowledge on the subject. These are things that professionals in the particular field will refer to. You should also be prepared for questions and clarifications. Even people who have such writing assignments are usually experts on the subject. So when you are writing, your work will be examined very closely. Once again, the pay is high.

Polls

You can also do these simple jobs. Research a particular product on the Internet and find out more about it. Then, form an opinion about the product and fill out a survey form. This is not much writing, but you will have to have an opinion. The pay is generally good, but you won’t find many of these jobs available.

Questionnaires

Some websites that are based on questionnaires will also have a constant demand for them. An example is ExpertRating.com, where you can apply directly. The payment is not very high to prepare questionnaires, at least not commensurate with the type of knowledge and input of work you are providing, but if you have a penchant for asking tricky questions then this might be the right thing for you.

Product descriptions

You may be asked to write them down as well. The description is usually for the product’s website or for an online store where it will be sold, such as Amazon or eBay. It’s a good idea to go through these places first and see how other products are described and then follow the pattern.

Product reviews

Many people who buy products online first read your reviews and try to get to know the products better. This is where the requirement to write reviews comes from. You can have an opinion here and most people won’t mind if you write negative reviews as well. The pay is adequate, not so good as to write reports or technical material.
