Write a story through episodes

What do you think about writing an episode story? as serialized, not episodic. I’ve been thinking about the idea for a while and I really want to, but I’m not sure if that’s something that people would like. It’s like mixing books and television shows, but without writing the script. In fact, I did a practice episode for a fan fiction that I liked last year, and it turned out that I liked 40 pages, so they would be short. Although based on what I hear on the Wattpad forums, many people like shorter readings and whatnot. Idrk, tell me what you guys think.
