rejection hit me hard

I have taken out my full EM with 5 agents and 3 have rejected it. The first two didn’t bother me too much, rejection doesn’t really tend to bother me, but today’s hit me HARD. The agent was super excited about the midterm and really had high hopes. I feel very low and flat today. Rejection is such an intrinsic part of the writing process and I’ve made my peace with it for the most part, but some are just more difficult than others. How do they cope when a rejection really catches them? Edit: Thank you all so much for your encouragement and your own stories of rejection and perseverance. I really appreciate all of you!
