How do you write a character that travels a distance?

The title says it all. How do you write a character who travels from point a to point b in a part that isn’t very important to the main story? Whether it’s 10 miles or 100 miles. Presence on social media when writing about totally different topics.

I have understood that it is time to go out and start sharing my texts and photos online. Part of the reason I haven’t done it yet is this: I feel like I don’t know which way I want to go. I have 2 different things that interest me. The first is all terror. My WIP is a horror novel and I love all the horror, the mysteries, the criminology, the conspiracy theories, the supernatural. I suppose you could start some kind of author blog on those topics. Writing about horror writing, I start to connect with other writers and hopefully one day I will get my own novel published. The second is self-help and psychology. I love writing and talking about achieving goals, changing the way you think, finding your career path, and much more. Of course, I could keep this interest in my private life, but I love writing about it and discussing it with others. I could really see myself getting into the self-help / coaching community. I always try to find solutions to problems, but this one is complicated for me. = Q What kind of social medical presence would you create if you were me? Where am I going with this? Thanks <3
